Licensing Consultant, both Conventional and Nuclear
The Safety & Licensing team in Arnhem is closely involved in safety assessments and licensing of nuclear installations, including the two new nuclear power plants in Borssele and potentially multiple small reactors elsewhere in the country. To realize these plants, various requirements and regulations must be met (in nuclear safety, occupational safety, environment, nature conservation, building codes, etc.). Therefore, we are seeking a:
Introduction:

You will work in a multidisciplinary team, closely liaising with the client and the regulatory authority. You will be well-versed in relevant guidelines and procedures, adept at translating technical information into licensing aspects, and proficient in clear communication and reporting. As an individual, you are eager to learn, willing to delve into nuclear safety broadly, a natural sounding board for specialists, an open and constructively critical colleague, and teamwork is second nature to you. Your Profile:
- A master's degree, possibly bachelor's, in a technical field, e.g., safety engineering or environmental science.
- Several years of relevant work experience in safety, environment & health in a technical environment.
- Experience in licensing and interaction with regulatory authorities.
- A positive attitude towards nuclear energy and a desire to contribute to the further development of the Dutch nuclear energy supply with your knowledge and experience.
- You are:
